Gulf HR was initially built by a group of professionals in South Africa that were involved with large corporate HR and Payroll implementations. Two major clients involved were First National Bank and Gold Fields – they had staff levels in excess of 50000 employees.

This expertise was then brought to Dubai and the Arabian Gulf in 1999. After about three years of extensive reconfiguration, development and customization, the Gulf HR and Payroll solution was released on to the Arabian market aimed at catering for the regions specific needs and requirements.
